At least two of the A300's flew for Compass Airlines in Australia, I think Monarch operated them on behalf of Compass. They were repossessed and have been part of the Monarch fleet ever since. Well at least that is what I recall? Do a search on

As for Stansted, I maintain that the recent Tinminal upgrades at Luton have sent the place downmarket to match what is on offer in Essex, at least Luton has a star attraction unlike Stansted!
