About the age 60 rule, just be aware that the U.S. Congress will be voting soon to extend compulsory retirement age to 65 for airline pilots in USA... no age limitations for flight engineers.

Yes, I am 62, and the young ones are eager to step on my Oxygen hose so that they upgrade faster... but my headwork is still ok when I handle my 747 classic... sorry I have to wear glasses (bifocals) since 15 years ago...
