Just an observation ( from a mad leftie!).
This thread a year ago or even 2 years ago would have had a lot more defenders of the incumbent federal administration.
But I sense the broader criticism is now squarely at them (apart from the regular PPrune neo-cons).
In the last week I have had dealings with my solicitor, my accountant, and fellow business owners - almost all of them were previously neutral on their view of the government - without prompting from me, they are now all firmly of the view that the power has gone to their head. Hubris?.
Do I detect the 'turning' finally against Howard et al.
And more importantly, will it translate at the 07 poll?
I live in hope.
[Now if we can just get a spine for Labor party from somewhere in time.]
