On a related issue, can anyone recommend a cheap, preferably central or upper North Island based twin to me? I'm a kiwi now resident in the UK and looking to buy about 30 multi hours up front over the nov/dec/jan period ... I don't need an instructor, an air transport certificate or even particularly give a **** if it's VFR or IFR, I just want some cheap and nasty multi time to take back to the UK with me so I can do my Pom multi instructor's rating after my xmas holiday back home. Preferably Seneca, Duchess, or twin Comanche although I'll consider anything if the price is right.
(There was a guy on here not too long ago banging on about some Apache that was going out for less than $200 an hour as I recall, anyone remember it or got more details?)
And yes, I already know messr's Sattler, Hooker and Carter, just looking to see if anyone's got anything better than the big schools have got to offer? Email me with any gen please ...
