18 months for the license conversion (ICAO to JAA) then another 8 months of CV's, phone calls, and personal visits before the first job (part-time). Another 8 months of similar endeavour before full-time employment was offered. (and just like buses arriving...I had 4 offers on the table within 1 week of accepting my first job
..and they keep rolling in
