The northewest England - Australia VFR market shrunk by 30% after Quaintarse pulled off the MAN-LHR sector.
What many didn't realise was that pax wanted to get on a plane at pod and stay on it to destination no matter how many stops, not fannying around changing guage, ternimal et al in the cause of efficiency.
Any airline with the bottle to serve the rest of the UK from MAN taking in Perth and Sydney even just weekly (weakly?) would I'm sure suceed. B777-ELR maybe?
They could fit in a USA west coast too maybe?
