Thought twice about posting this as it's fact not rumour, but here goes....
Fact: There is a review of the Qantas regional ops to establish where streamlining and rationalisation can save dollars. No mention of single AOC's etc.
Fact: The move of NJS to WA and Southern from Launceston to Canberra occured because Qantas needed to redeploy 717's from the Coolangatta route and extra 146 capacity was required in WA with the demise of Ansett.
Fact: Qantas has just signed a 12 month contract with the Ansett Administrators for use of the 146 simulator.
