I know when I finished my initial rating I had more stalling time than most non-instructors will ever have. . .Secondly, who would teach a VASIS appch (amazing I agree) if they were not taught it themselves? . .I don't disagree with your comments re general flying standards and the reason for its decrease but lets be rational. Flight instructors are taught how and why to instruct using various methods, heck, they even have to do spins as part of their training!
