Try Kestrel Avaition at Mangalore, they are a proffessional operator who train local and international students. There prices are reasonable and there machines are good. The other big plus is that they operate at an uncontrolled aerodrome and the WX is usually better than down in Melbourne. They also have onsite accommodation, and are one of a small number of helicopter flying school that do instrument ratings in Australia.
