I agree Maun is a great place but don't think the 206 rating is needed before you get there. If a company hires you then a simple law exam and a very short flight test will get you the licence conversion, both of which will be paid for by the company. After that 50 hours of flying is needed in the area before you will be let lose by yourself, this will all be done on empty sectors at and therefore won't cost you or the company anything. Yes you do need to be there to get jobs but think the money spent in Gabs may be a little wasted. If your face fits (i.e you like a few pints after a days work and you don't have any major social problems) then there is a good chance of a job.
