I would be more than happy to assist the wine industry to remove their red wine glut, (I would even bring my own Margaret River cheese & bikkies (+pate of course), if they provided an enroute wine class (lots of drinks) or tasting (NOT lots of stingy samples). Could never understand the logic of sitting in Business and getting a free skin full, compared to not being allowed to get a 2nd or third god-aweful rough red in Y (and paying). (There was one red from Port MacQuarie, not a noted wine district, QF used to flog about three or four years back, must have been owned by JimBT, no one else would have sold it.)
If the decline in Oz aviation means I can bring my own snacks and cellar, (cabin crew, cork screw please!), bring it on.!
