Glass cockpits still use colour to represent different warnings/message. If you take the 747-400 for example:

Green: Gear down and locked
Indicated flap position
Reference speeds on the PFD
EICAS hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematic
RMI on ND

Red: Speed tape (limit speed)
Master warning light
All GPWS alerts / Windshear
Fire handles


White: Generally used for the overhead panel to show
that a system is on and working correctly
White hashes represents gear in transit
Status messages

Amber: Caution / Recall items

Magenta: LOC/GS indications.
Descent profile pointer
FMC route on ND
Active waypiont on ND
TE/LE flaps in transit
Flight director command bars
