Cockpit Lights

Hi all,

I wondered if some of you might be able to give me some help?

For a University project into colour perception and psychology
i'd like to find out about what instruments on the Flight Deck use coloured lights and what colours they light up as. I know that red typically means danger, but i can think of only a few examples where one would be needed.

I assume orange would typically mean a hazard or warning and green would mean something is functioning correctly, but again i am struggling to think of examples!

And also are there any instances of other colours being used? Say white or blue lights for example?

And lastly i know more modern a/c use glass cockpits, so i'm kind of thinking with relation to older a/c maybe??

Anyhelp is very much appreciated. Thanks
