Not disagreeing with the above, but if you were looking to buy property in the Northwich area, just a note of caution - beware subsidence, a legacy of its salt mining days.
If rural living appeals, there are any number of attractive villages in the 'Vale Royal' area of Cheshire - Whitegate, Eaton, Tarporley and Little Budworth to name but a few. Great pubs, good food, and all within easy reach of either Airport.
