hotnhi,

RYR defenitely will be no worse than EZY. RYR is straight forward and has a stable roster with no overnights, which is good for a family lifestyle.

If you want lifestyle/ days off it might be worth considering a Brookfield contract with RYR. If you don't mind moving around the base network for a working week (to where you can position and back for free and FR flights) this will give you 5 on 5 off! Otherwise it will be 5 and 3 with a fixed base.

About this clause in the contract for base changes. This is more applicable to cadets, since they can be pushed around more. As a capt. with experience you can tell them that you will join only when you get base XXX and they will most likely honour your request since RYR, as any other airline at the moment, is/ will be short of experienced pilots. If they talk about a base change after you already joined, just tell them you will resign if they do move you. That should sort that problem for you.

About this 5 and 4 roster that might happen. This is not so much for attracting new pilots, as some suggest, but more for spreading the hours of the pilots. On the current 5 and 3 a lot of pilots run out of hours before the end of the year.

RYR and interline...........NO,none. But with the RYR salary you can afford to buy a normal ticket There are staff travel deals with other things though and you can also use Touchdown.

Hope this helps a bit for your decision.

Good luck,

Rgds,

Ptt
