Yeah matey, you have a definite justifiable gripe there. I have just been informed that my IREX exam will now cost $160 instead of the $50+ if I had sat it this month. Totally unjustifiable and if my experience as a teacher (not in this country or in aviation) is anything to go by it will be even more incentive for the wealthy to buy their exam passes with not a little cheating!! Hope I'm wrong cos I've been up to my eyes in aviation theory for the past year!
