If I was ready to sit my CPL theory last month the exam would have cost me about $150. If I am ready to sit my CPL theory next month it will cost me $550.
How can this increase really be justified???

I think the issue here is not the price of the exam it is the exorbitant increase.. .It is all very good and well to say "when" you are flying around in the LH/RH seat - realistically, to an 'almost' Commercial pilot it's "if". . .Saving money by studying hard??? No, studying for this exam now will end up costing me an extra $400. I don't make a habit of repeating a navex but if I had to repeat one, last month I could have afforded to, but now unfortunately from next month onwards that money will be going towards my theory exam.
