Please let's stop this nonsense about boycotts and black bans against Air NZ. The TWU made their point by blockading the NZ PM's aircraft but any further action is not going to assist Ansett staff and will only serve to weaken Air NZ's position. Will you not be satisfied until Air NZ goes to the wall as well? Don't you realise that Air New Zealand, like Ansett, is made up of a lot of good people who are devoted to their airline but cannot control its destiny. The argument is with morally maneuverable management who don't care what airline they are working for. I was fortunate to spend 31 years with QF and to me Air NZ was always family. My heart bleeds for all the Ansett people and I sympathise with their legitimate grievances but hurting Air NZ will help nobody. Besides the world's airlines are in for a hard enough time as it is.
