Question is about Sponsorship, therefore it belongs here, no?
c144, I'm about to turn 27 myself and have been training part-time for about 4 months now - just about finished my PPL. Unfortunately, there is a distinct lack of sponsorships available, and most of those that are available are only part-sponsorships. In reality, if you do wish to become a commercial pilot, it will involve a significant investment of time and money on your part, sponsored or not.
Have a look at the FlyBE sponsorship thread - if you're concerned about your age being an issue, I pointed out in that thread that the max age for application there went from 27 last year to 33 this year, so from that perspective, all is not lost.
However, as I said, be prepared to finance your training yourself for the most part.
Best of luck either way.
