The_ Hun. .I have over the years, often heard people talking about learning to fly tailwheel aircraft and getting the wrong answers. It is in my opinion totaly unrealistic to think anyone can be signed off as competant after only 2 hours.
My advise to you is to seek out those experienced pilots that reside at tyabb and have a quiet word over a beer or two and you will soon learn of all the hidden pitfalls you are about to encounter.
There are quite a few good books available on the subject and you would do well to get one and read it from cover to cover before you do any training.
I always say that if you want some meat go to a butcher and if you want to learn to fly a taildrager aircraft seek out an expert not someone that dabbles in it now and then when the odd student comes along.
Good luck
