I don't think the USA & or the Caribbean has made money for bmi out of Manchester and with the new MAN - JFK on Delta I think they'll be forced in to more profitable markets that are eastbound from LHR
What a load of rubbish, longhaul ex MAN has done very well for itself, with the exception of UVF and that was to do with fuel costs.
