Mud Skipper, I think you can ignore any 764 rumours. No airline will go near it at this stage, and Boeing have produced a dud variant of the 767 here. More 763s are a chance though they'd probably be headed to Australian.. .. .Sherm Boy, you are right there is a large gap between the A330 and A380 and that is why they are keeping and expanding the 744 fleet. With 763s, A332s and A333s doing domestic and regional services and 744s and A380s handling long range services, the need for another type such as 777 doesn't make sense particularly as long range medium load services out of Australia are to places such as South America and South Africa where ETOPs remains an issue.
