the whole uae is a nation devoted to racism. Look at the exploitation of labour. Look at the different sets of rules for different social classes, christ just look at the difference in window tint in cars the next time you're out in the street... racism is insitutionalized here in the uae. remember the pay rise given to gov't employees last spring? 15% across the board, 25% for uae nationals...
on a slightly less ranty note, discrimination is the basis of choice. Without judgement, one may not exercise choice.
Flight Deck exercise choice when choosing with whom to consort. Just because we work on the same aircraft doesn't mean we have to like you or hang out with you. The reverse is also true. I think you are confused as to what it is you perceive. It is just fine for me not to like you, (and I don't). Just shut up and do what you are paid to do.
