I'd have a word with the academic staff - they should be sensitive to your needs. Apply for ULAS and its something you can ask about at the interview. ULAS were quite sensitive to the needs of us UH studes in my time there.
It's also just occured to me that by the time you get onto the Squadron (if accepted) it would be mid December anyway, and your lecture times will change at the end of January (for the 2nd semester), so it shouldn't be a problem...
