A further chat with AN mates reveal that this supposed individual may have been discharged from an RAAF Pilots course many years ago for pilfering from AFCANS (Air Force Canteen Services).
Add to this what Kap M has hinted at in relation to hardware related cases and you have a definite pattern and a repeat offender if all is true.
Couple this with a few mentioned cases of abusing staff,behaving in a petulant manner on more than one occassion and run-in's with management then these are not character traits I would expect of an individual with such responsibility.
