TAKE THE JOB!!!! I was in Darwin for 8 months and thought I was in the running for atleast 3 jobs, but didn't get any of them. 8 months of pouring beers really gets on your nerves, especially when you can't afford to go flying because you are just making enough money to pay your bills. Everyone goes to Darwin, so if you have been offered a job take it. I have been in Cairns for almost 2 months and am loving it. Even though I am not flying every day I am flying atleast 2 days a week, and the log book is ticking over.
Are you certain that the job is yours if you get to FNQ. Otherwise it is a long drive. If you are coming through Cairns drop me a mail, we could catch up for a beer. Although If you are in Darwin could you pick up my Carton of Crown Larger from HA, which I won at last years Casurina Crawl for the boat races......
