You must be from the B777 cause after you have worked the 900 hrs you would not be so pleased. And for some of us up to a 1000 under the factoring.
For those of us on 330/340 we are knackered. Another 95 hrs this month 9 days off.
Basic pay is based on 79 hrs approx, and up until recently and the advent of the son of satin (ADOP) we use to work to that, and average 10-12 days off a month.
No contract I saw, said I was to do 100 hrs in 28 days that is the Max limit.
A lot of other airlines have roster agreements, to limit the hrs VS, NZ of which I know.
They believe that the limits are exactly that, not to be worked to its called Safety.
EK have a very creative use of the Cars/FOM, and rostering to the limit. JFK 3 pilots, CGK/BKK/DXB 2 pilots ICN, and PVG 2 pilots, not many airlines that I know would work to this, even the low cost that I came from respected the Limits sadly EK seem to not, led by TCAS and his hench men.
