You dont have to outline anything. Contract or FOM that is what we are made to do. Most companies in Europe use this under contractural terms. I am not saying this is right or wrong, thats just the way it is. And hey guess what it will go to 1000 a year soon. Where there are loop holes they will find a way and there is nothing you or I can do about it.

I am not a wind up merchant I just say things as I see them. So get off my case. Tell me anywhere that does not have the same sort of rules. Most companies around the globe use 900 hours as a benchmark. The thing you can look at is that when you hit 900 hours then you cant fly anymore. I have already seen that several times in EK.

I know what the rules in the FOM state. Under JAR Ops this FTL which is formed initially from CAP 371 subpart Q was there as a guide. Most airlines use this guide as a max. I know as well as you that this is not ideal. I know also that they are now short of pilots and aircraft. In addition tell that to the guys who still insist on working their days off.

Heres the next rub as this is a rumour network. I hear they are re-inviting candidates who originally failed their interviews with EK back again for reassessment. What does that say to you.
