The 100 hours you refer to is not in your contract. It is in the FOM and CARs under flight time limits. 100 in 28 days, 900 in 12 months.
If you're on the Boeing, then I suspect you are not anywhere near these limits. The airbus guys however are pushing 1000hrs in the previous 12 months due to past factoring. It is illegal, but I guess to avoid the company going against the ropes then it's ok, isn't it?
Try flying 1000hrs in 12 months and see how your perspective changes!
