Bulldog69, I apologise for being insensitive in my original post.
However, it's my belief is that there should be no special treatment of AN pilots applying for QF/
VB. Just like all those who were successful and now work there, and those who are yet to get their first taste of working for a major airline, the AN pilots should be treated exactly the same.
In regard to pilots missing out on various airlines only to be successful in another doesn't make them any less of a pilot. There could be a wide range of reasons as to why they missed out. Having a bad day is just one of them. My experience has shown it to be usually something more substantial.
All airlines think that THEY have the best recruiting system in comparison to the rest. I think that's very subjective. Don't you agree?
