VB have taken on some engineers and tech crew. Their offer to take on 500 Ansett staff, Pilots, Cabin Crew etc all revolved around them operating 10 Ansett 737's. The first Administrator was working on this idea but the new one soon put a stop to it. Now you know who to thank. Just because you haven't got an interview within 30 seconds of sending it in doesn't mean you won't get one. On the other hand just because you have 10 years experience with someone else, doesn't mean you will be get an interview. As you may have realised,
VB has a very different philosophy. A lot of
VB staff do not fit the AN & QF mould, but are exectly what
VB were looking for.
