NEMA was one ofhe first regionals to have a lo cost operation and other irports have now caught up. Slightly harder times were to be expected.

What is the financial cost of Ryanair, is there a deal for them to increase services and if so does this apply to the other operators.

If so it is still a bussiness and needs to make a realistic return with profits. It is not all about passenger numbers.

NEMA has the 2 biggest low cost carriers in Europe with bases at the airport.. That is not bad is it.

In addition if the passenger flights are not making alot of money for the airport there are always all those lovely freight flights which most lo cost airports do not have to fall back on.

Birmingham had a stagnant/reduction for over 12 months and recovered this summer. If you read the forum on Manchester also had a similar period.

There are already several new routes next year to destination not served opening new markets and not just ah another Malaga and Alicante flight.
