1000tt and 100 multi might get you noticed, but it won't get you hired, at least not by Air Nelson. They are generally looking at 1500tt and at least 300 multi and they prefer time on ATO's. Very few applicants have been hired with less than that. When I was hired by NS I had 2000tt with 1500 multi, all on ATO's. The lowest timer on the course had 400 multi, gained by instructing, and around 1500tt I think. Things might have changed, but there are guys in NZ with those minimum requirements, and they are the ones getting the jobs. If you do get an interview, best of luck as it is a great job, with great guys and girls to work with. Best job I've had so far!
