Just to qualify a few points by Stoptherot who is otherwise pretty accurate:
We did after much negotitiaion get the 3% pay rise
......on basic pay only = !.5% pay rise.
just don't believe the T's and C's until you have a signed contract
......even then don't believe anything. Your T & Cs will be amended at will by the stroke of a pen.
