The Ansett Administrators recovered $10,000,000 from debtors to give them some start up capital.

I suggest that they may have paid the leases for the Aircraft they intend to use and surrendered the others and perhaps also discussed with the leasing companies to suspend the payment schedules during the period so they could further evaluate the situation.
