Interesting if true. The whole ASR system is in a complete mess. Many crew will now never file an ASR if they don't have to, why get grief if you don't have to???
Just look at the way the 12R 777 was handled or many other recent incidents
I am all for those who grossly violate the FOM being brought in for a chat shall we say. But disciplinaries or demotions for minor errors or mistakes
It creates a bad atmosphere within the EK pilot community, a system of rule by fear, not condusive in my opinion to a safe airline!
What happened BTW to that Himilayas ASR??? I haven't seen it on the weekly digest. Anyone ???
