Emirates make no bones about using 777s on short hops. In one interview with the Sheikh, he was asked about their having no short-range, single-aisle types in their fleet and he made the point that on short routes (he mentioned DXB-BAH) they'd rather run a 777 with only half pax - but a belly full of freight.
The 777-200 would be SIA's smallest type at the moment, no?
Pretty much any lower-48 US domestic would be a sub-5 hour also.
