Judging by the article in full mentioned I must say that the answer will be no.. .I judge this by the fact that Virgin/Qantas have tied up the rest of the market and cut themselves a very tight little niche.
Add this to the fact that Qantas has virtually tied up the entire business class market (high yield and a must for higher profit in any airlines language).
Couple this with Ansett's total lack of ability to effectively advertise in an appealing manner and their inherent stinginess displayed through a new frequent flyer scheme which I can only call not only insulting but tight-arsed and you have a recipe for disaster.
Never thought I'd say this but after the employee entitlements are paid out they better shoot the old girl and put it out of it's misery!
