I am naive maybe on other matters but on this I am certain. Not quite certain but absolutely certain. SQ indeed is an integral part of the Sg government's grand scheme of things and the company has no doubt benefited from this fact in other ways but I am absolutely certain and the external auditors who do the SQ annual accounts can vouch for this, that SQ has never received any form of financial aid from the government. This is common knowledge, maybe not within the airline industry but certainly among air transport research analysts in the broking houses and other financial instituitions.
