Application to French DGAC will, I think, get you permission for one overrflight, not permission to regularily schedule such flights.
Problems have arisen in Europe, I believe, when aircraft en route have had to divert into and land in France with Captain over the age of sixty?
No problem having an over sixty in the RHS though so long as LHS is younger?
Must agree with Kep Ten Jim. My problem though is that I never grew up!
