Money once on-line and with allowences averages around £1600 per month, depending on roster. With maximum trips and a bit of OT you can take home £1900-2100. I guess if you got a really crap roster youd be lookin at £1200-1300.
The new recuits tend to be a mix on ages depending on the course. A lot are internal applicant from within BA, so there are sometimes quite a few ex ground staff on the course. When I started a few years back I had a 52 year old on mine, and I was the youngest (I was 25).
