The 500 hrs in the Phillipines was something i found out about when i called them up.
Basically, it sounds like if you take the 500 hrs (£20000) in the Phillipines you'll have a good chance of being employed by the company. If this happens you'll be using FAA ratings therefore negating the need to pay Tayflight £10000 to convert to JAA when you return to Britain.
Don't quote me on all this as it was a quick phonecall a few weeks ago. I just wanted to know if anyone else had taken this option already.
It appealed to me as i've got no desire to return to the UK once i'm done!
