Yes ACF rents aircraft from Rainbow and so does UKFT and PCH, that is correct.

John Tavolta flies a QANTAS jet on occasion and that metal rocker with the mullet flies for Astreus, big wow-ee, doesn't mean I'm going to run out and buy shares in them.

Clamb, nobody leaves Long Beach with a JAA PPL, they have a JAA compliant licence which is a FAA PPC (Private Pilot Certificate) which is ICAO recognised. BillieBob hit the nail on the head. If I am wrong I'll hold my hands up, please feel free to respond.

Charles, be careful what you write on here, I think we all know who 'vinil' is.

UKFT and Rainbow Air are definetly not the same company.

I would agree that a site visit is a good move, I didn't make one party due to cost and timing, however 2 indepth telephone discussions convinced me that I was making the right move and I haven't been proven wrong.

ACF's owner holds both FAA and JAA CFI/CFII/MEI qualifications in addition to FAA ATP and JAA ATPL. THe one piece of info correct from the last poster is that he is not a JAA examiner.

Whats this about 500 hours in the Phillipines? What's the info on that gsxr750lrc - Jesus . . . what a username

I posted a message on a thread about Rainbow, just check my previous posts and you'll find it easy enough.
