JAR Compliant PPL

I guess UKFT's JAR Compliant FAA PPL must be accepted by the CAA if Jolie is allowed to fly in the UK.

If you don't like Angelina, then don't look!
I know some of you are sick of the coverage of Angelina, but for those of you who aren't, here's some goss and piccies.

Before she passed her PPL:

US Weekly spoke with Ajay Sinha, who has been giving flying lessons to Angelina Jolie in Long Beach, California. "She does very well," Sinhah said. "She is an above-average student." He added, "She can actually take off and land on her own." And she's no diva. "She is so down to earth," he said. "She is the nicest person."

**She passed her PPL European JAR Compliant - JAA and FAA Licences in the USA early in 2005 and is continuing with Ajay, her instructor in the Cirrus, at U.K Flight Training in CA.**

"Angelina Jolie enjoyed learning to fly so much, she studied British and American aeronautics (?) to make sure she can take to the skies anywhere in the world. The Tomb Raider star is in the throes of buying her first plane after admitting she loved learning how to become a pilot. She says, "I'm taking the English and the American courses at the same time. In America there's one test; in England there are eight. "This is the hardest thing I've ever done - just the work of it and the commitment and how long it's taken. The classes, the science and math of it. Meteorology. Navigation. All of it. "I'm more careful about flying than I've been about anything."

Good to hear she's taking it all so seriously and that she found it hard work. See, she's human after all!!
