OZ strike has now entered the 5th day...
Mostly domestic and cargo cancellations - only 1 international cancelation (ICN-SYD).
Rumours are that unionized KE pilots will not fly cargo flights commencing SAT 23rd. Some domestic flights may also be affected.
Too many demands (78 in total) ranging from provision of golf clubs at overseas stations, no requirement for English testing, extension of retirement age (58) and 17% reduction in flying hours / year.
Lets see who gives in first. Tough time for us foreigners here, holding the fort together with the local non-unionized pilots.
