Have to agree, a word of thanks from the people you've helped is all the reward I need.
I get a bit lost when it comes to all the industries awards to certain companys. Much prefer to see awards to individuals & crews for the odd 'good job'. The Navy's 'Green Endorsement' springs to mind.
Although as you state, it sometimes seems unfair to single out one crew from the others, but certainly I don't feel that its a problem. After all it becomes a source of squadron/ unit pride & a good excuse for beer & banter!
