Just to stop this rubbish and try and give a bit more credibility to Pprune (if that can ever be achieved with idiots outweighing genuine aviators)

The release of the plan -

* No change to the design aircraft - which means no larger aircraft than
currently operate at Bankstown

The Q&A on the plan -

Q. Will large jets be operating from Bankstown Airport ?
A. NO. Bankstown Airport will only be able to handle smaller passenger aircraft. Boeing 737 and similar aircraft are too big to use Bankstown Airport.

The plan is accepted -

“Bankstown Airport is pleased the Draft Master Plan has been approved with the Minister Anderson acknowledging the extensive public consultation undertaken by the Airport in preparing the Draft Master Plan,” said Mr Kim Ellis, Chief Executive Officer, BAC Airports.

I wish people would do the appropriate due diligence before posting so many can benefit from reading posts - I ask the question how do you know you have a moderator when you have one?
