How sprightly are 747s at very low weights, ie fuel to MEL and no freight or pax? The other night i was on the intersection of Kilo and Alpha taxiways at YSSY. Watched an Atlas Air 747-400F depart on 16R. He was airborne about the 07/25 intersection and his climb gradient was impressive to say the least.
