There will be two written tests: One on air knowledge and another to ascertain if you belong in the Human Race. Next, a medical exam and then a flight check. Also, you are required to have a radio license and the American FCC license is not accepted. This would involve another written test and oral exam. The whole procedure is generally thought be a giant pain in the ass, if the only reason is to fly a light aircraft.
