In Canada , operators can get approval to do CAT I ILS approachs to a discision height of 100 feet with an RVR of 1200 feet . They can also be approved for take-offs fith a RVR of 600 feet. Approval is also avialable for off-shore rig approaches to 150 feet MDA.
With the 100 foot DH , a check ride must be done in a full motion simulator.
